Aunt Tina’s Banofee Pie

1 ready made graham cracker crust
1 can sweetened condensed milk
3 bananas
cool whip and graham cracker crumbs for topping

remove label from condensed milk and place can in a large pot. completely over with water. Be sure to keep it completely submerged because the can might explode if not. Bring to a rolling boil. reduce to a bubbling simmer and continue to boil for 3 1/2 hours or you can fill your crock pot with water and place cans in water and cook on low for 8 hours. Unopened cans can be stored for up to 2 years. Once the can is cool enough to touch, remove lid and stir. slice bananas and fill the bottom of the graham crust. Pour milk over bananas and spread evenly over all. Spread cool whip over milk and top with crushed graham crackers. Keep refrigerated.   Tina Asher
